Rebecca Caulfield

Rebecca CaulfieldRebecca Caulfield joined the firm in April 2007 after completing her training contract at a leading law firm in the North West. Rebecca has experience representing Clients in the police station, the Magistrates Court and in the Crown Court.

Rebecca has worked on a number of serious and complex cases prosecuted by the Serious Fraud Office, Crown Prosecution Service Complex Case Unit, and the HM Revenue and Customs Prosecution Office. Throughout her practice she has been praised by leading Queen’s Counsel and Counsel for her case preparation and her ability to rapidly identify the crucial issues in heavyweight litigation, to allow Leading Counsel and Counsel to present the case effectively to the Court. Rebecca has been praised by other members of the profession for her upmost professional quality and the relationship that she develops with her clients.

In particular Rebecca has a reputation for representing nurses and carers in Health and Safety matters concerning care homes and assisted living accommodation and it is an area of her practice that she hopes to develop. Rebecca has also successfully represented as a consequence of these cases nurses in relation to Nursing and Midwifery Council proceedings.

Rebecca is also qualified as a Higher Court Advocate, forming part of an actively developing department within Stephen Lickrish & Associates Ltd.  This allows her and the other Higher Court advocates to undertake the same work as a barrister in the Crown Court.
